Gateshead go down at Widnes

Gateshead Thunder went down 40-18 away to Widnes Vikings in there 3^rd group game of the Northern Rail Cup.

The teams were fairly matched but Thunder had 2 players sin binned and 13 against 12 for two 10 minute spells was always going to be tough.

Thunder return to the Gateshead International Stadium or there final Northern Rail Cup group game against Rochdale Hornets on Sunday 1^st March.
