Gateshead Thunder will be wearing their new 2009 playing kits all within 7 days as they play their opening two rounds of the 2009 Northern Rail Cup this next week.

With the re-arranged fixture against Keighley now on Tuesday 10th February (Kick Off - 7.30pm), and the eagerly awaited home opener against Sheffield Eagles this Sunday (15th February - Kick Off 3.00pm), fans will get the chance to see the kits up close both on and off the field as Thunder will be wearing both their home and away kits.

Chief Executive Rod Findlay commented: "The new playing jerseys look great and we're sure they will be a favourite amongst our fans."

"Not only will fans be able to see the team in action in the kits, we will also have several players wearing the jerseys around the stadium on Sunday so that you can get up close and personal to them!"

"We will be taking orders for the jerseys on the day, allowing fans to purchase them straight away."
