Steeden are delighted to have signed Jon Wilkin as our principal endorsee for the next 3 years.

Jon signed for St Helens from Hull K.R in 2002 and has become an integral part of the first team, amassing 205 points in 149 appearances for The Saints and being capped for Great Britain 6 times.

Strong and skilful with quick feet and great vision, Jon has made a huge impact at Saints with his all round attacking game and his uncompromising defence.

Career highlights so far include scoring 2 tries in the 2006 Challenge Cup Final at Twickenham, all with a broken nose! Jon also scored in the Challenge Cup final of 2008 which Saints went omn to win, giving Jon his third consecutive Challenge Cup winners medal. Jon was also included in The Super League Dream Team in 2006 and has been a part of the last 3 Great Britain Squads that have faced Australia and New Zealand in both the Tri Nations and Test Series.

Steeden's latest club signing Doncaster RLFC recently won promotion from National League 2 after a tough final against Oldham at the Halliwell Stadium and are now Set to take on National 1 in there Steeden gear.

Cambridge University ARLFC

Nickname: The Green Lions

League: Midlands Division BUSC

Steeden UK are delighted to announce that for the next 3 years they will be supporting
Cambridge University ARLFC. Steeden will act as both team wear and equipment providers for the duration of the agreement.

Cambridge University Amateur Rugby League Football Club was formed in 1970 for the initial Varsity Match against Oxford University. In the 26 years since formation the club has made a considerable increase in both its prominence within the University sporting community and within the Student Rugby League.

The club currently competes in the Midlands Division of the BUSC (formally BUSA) and have just won there league for the first time in 10 years..

For the first time in 2004, the annual Varsity match against Oxford was screened live on Sky Sports. This level of covereage was continued in 2005 and beyond with veiwing figures greater than some Super League games - a reflection of the quality and standard at which the club now competes.

Fiji UK

Steeden are proud to announce that they are to be the official ball, match shirt and teamwear supplier to Fiji UK.

Commenting on the partnership, Fiji UK Team Manager, Mike Ratu, said:

“The partnership with Steeden UK is a major coup for our organisation. Steeden are a leading brand in the game and to be associated with such a forward thinking manufacturer is a real honour for us.”

Steeden wasted no time in kitting out Fiji UK in time for there debut in the Floodlit 9’s tournament in August 2008, for which Fiji Rugby Union Legend Waisale Serevi played for Fiji UK
“The new kit which features the national colours of Fiji looks terrific and the players are already commenting on the quality of the team wear range.” Commented Ratu

Fiji will be wearing the new unique X-Active Bi-Jersey fabric shirts with moisture management made up in the national Fiji colours.

UK Steeden Marketing Director Richard Gray is Delighted to have the Steeden brand associated with the flamboyant Fijians.

“Fiji UK are proactive organisations, who are looking to try and dominate nines Rugby League in this country. They are developing a talented squad for the inaugural Carnegie Floodlit Nines tournament and I am sure with the backing of Steeden they can do themselves very proud in the tournament”.

England Touch Association

Steeden are the official match ball of the England Touch Association (E.T.A) and all there competitions are played using the Steeden Touch Classic, available to buy online now through the Steeden website.

Touch rugby is fast becoming one of the most popular sports in the country and is played by men and woman of all ages. There are many touch associations around the country and plenty of opportunities to get involved.
